Privacy Policy

Last updated 28 July 2026

Versidify is operated by MeshAI Labs, Inc. This policy describes what we collect, why, where it is kept, and who else handles it. It is written to be read rather than to be survived, and it describes what the software actually does.

What we collect

Account information. Your email address, and a name if you provide one. Authentication is handled by Clerk, which also holds your password and session records. We never see your password.

Organisation and membership records. The organisations you belong to, your role in each, and the email addresses of people invited to them.

Content you write. The documentation pages, site names and navigation you create. This is your content and stays yours.

Billing information. If you subscribe, Stripe collects and holds your payment details. Card numbers never reach our servers. We store a customer identifier, your plan, and its status.

Usage counts. The number of grounded answers your organisation has generated in the current month, because plans include an allowance. We do not keep a log of the questions themselves.

What we do not collect

We do not use advertising or analytics trackers, we do not sell or rent personal information to anyone, and we do not build profiles for advertising. The only cookies set are the session cookies Clerk needs to keep you signed in.

Where your data is stored

Your content, organisations and usage records are stored on infrastructure we operate ourselves in the United States, in the state of Georgia. Search indexes and the embeddings that power semantic search are computed on that same infrastructure and are not sent anywhere.

If you are in the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area, using Versidify involves transferring your data to the United States.

Answer generation, and what it sends

This is the part of the service that shares your content with someone else, so it is worth stating plainly. When a grounded answer is requested, we send the question together with excerpts of the relevant documentation to a language model provider, which returns an answer we then attach citations to.

Search does not do this. Retrieval, ranking and embeddings all run on our own infrastructure, so a site that never uses answers never sends its content to a model provider.

Who else processes your data

We use a small number of subprocessors. Each is listed with what it receives and why. All are United States companies.

We will update this list before adding a subprocessor, not after.

How long we keep it

Content and organisation records are kept while your account exists. Deleting an organisation deletes its sites, pages and hostnames. Invitations expire after seven days whether or not they are used. Billing records are retained for as long as tax and accounting rules require, which is longer than the account itself.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. If you are in the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area you also have the right to object to or restrict certain processing, and to complain to your data protection authority. If you are in California, you have the right to know what we collect and to ask us to delete it, and we do not sell personal information.

Requests reach a person, not a queue. Write to us and we will answer.

Security

Traffic to Versidify is encrypted in transit. Access to organisation content requires membership of that organisation, and that check is made on the server for every request rather than in the browser. Payment details are handled by Stripe and never stored by us.

We operate our own infrastructure rather than renting it. No service is immune from compromise, and we will tell you promptly if yours is affected rather than waiting until we have a complete picture.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that affects how your information is used, we will say so before the change takes effect rather than quietly updating the date at the top.
